June 6, 2024, Ghaziabad: A massive fire broke out in an underground gas pipeline owned by Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) near Chaudhary Mode in Ghaziabad on Wednesday morning. The swift response of the local fire department prevented any loss of life or significant damage.
The fire started around 9:30 am, sending thick plumes of smoke into the air and causing panic among nearby residents. Initially, water could not extinguish the raging flames.
