UPPSC RO ARO Exam: Absconding Suspect Subhash Prakash Leaked Paper in Varanasi, Orchestrated Leak from Madhya Pradesh

June 5, 2024, Lucknow: In a startling development, the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) RO-ARO exam paper leak case has taken a new turn. The prime suspect, Subhash Prakash, who is currently absconding, allegedly orchestrated the leak from Madhya Pradesh and then traveled to Varanasi to take the exam himself. This revelation has raised serious concerns about the integrity of the UPPSC examination process and shattered the dreams of aspiring officers.

The Special Task Force (STF) is diligently investigating the case to uncover how Subhash obtained the leaked paper. CO STF Lal Pratap Singh stated, “The full extent of Subhash’s involvement will only be known after his arrest.”

Multiple Leaks Discovered

According to the STF, the RO-ARO exam paper was leaked from two locations:

  1. Bishop Johnson Girls’ Wing: The accused, Dr. Sharad, school employee Arpit, and Kamlesh Pal, have already been sent to jail for leaking the paper just before the exam commenced on February 11.
  2. Madhya Pradesh: Rajeev Nayan Mishra, a resident of Meja, obtained the paper from Bhopal. Upon questioning, Rajeev Nayan revealed that Subhash Prakash, residing in Bhopal, had sent him the paper via WhatsApp.

Shockingly, the leaked paper had been circulating in the market two days before the exam.

Suspect’s Background and Modus Operandi

Originally from Bihar, Subhash Prakash had established himself in Bhopal and was running an admission racket along with Rajeev Nayan Mishra. Since the revelation of his involvement, Subhash has been on the run.

The STF suspects that Subhash may have obtained the paper during the printing process, as no other explanation seems plausible. The exam papers reached the centers on February 11, while Subhash had already acquired the paper on February 10.

Ongoing Investigation and Concerns

The STF is working tirelessly to apprehend Subhash Prakash and uncover the full extent of the paper leak scandal. The incident has raised alarming questions about the security and fairness of the UPPSC examination process, shattering the aspirations of countless candidates who dreamed of becoming officers.

As the investigation progresses, the authorities aim to identify and plug the loopholes in the system to prevent such incidents in the future. The UPPSC has assured the public that stringent measures will be implemented to restore the integrity of the examination process and regain the trust of the candidates.
