June 6, 2024, Noida: The Noida Police have registered a case against 15 individuals for allegedly encroaching upon government land in Sorkha village, Sector 113. The accused, including Vikas Yadav, Cheenu Yadav, and others, are reported to have illegally constructed on land belonging to the Noida Authority despite repeated warnings from officials, highlighting the growing menace of the land mafia in the region.
Illegal Construction on Khasra No. 819 According to Nikhil, a Junior Engineer with the Noida Authority, the accused had been occupying land with Khasra number 819 in Sorkha village and had begun construction without obtaining the necessary permissions.
- “We had warned them multiple times to stop the illegal construction, but they did not pay heed,” Nikhil stated in his complaint to the police.
