28-08-24: Tata Group is set to recruit 4,000 women technicians from Uttarakhand for its components manufacturing and assembly facilities located in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. This recruitment drive is part of the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) and National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS).
On Monday, the Uttarakhand state planning department received a notification from Tata Group outlining the recruitment process. The initiative is focused on filling positions at Tata’s plants in Hosur (Tamil Nadu) and Kolar (Karnataka).
This recruitment drive is a significant step towards empowering women by providing them with technical skills and employment opportunities in a high-tech environment. By focusing on precision electronics assembly, the Tata Group is not only contributing to the “Make in India” initiative but also enhancing the local workforce’s capabilities. Eligibility Criteria:
- NAPS: Candidates should have completed Class 10 or 12.
- NATS: Candidates should have completed Class 10, Class 12, or hold ITI diplomas.
