In January 2021, the Government of Uttar Pradesh launched the Kisan Kalyan Mission. This mission is directly related to promotion of new technology in agriculture and Prime Minister’s promise of doubling farmers’ income. UP Farmer Welfare Mission 2022 ,
The Kisan Kalyan Mission in Uttar Pradesh was started by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath from Banthra Block of Sarojininagar development block of capital Lucknow. The aim of the Kisan Kalyan Abhiyan is to spread awareness among the farmers of the state about the systematic use of improved seeds, organic fertilizers, fertilizers in agriculture and market demand. Along with this, about 7500 farmers will be honored by choosing 100 progressive farmers from each district of each state as role models.
According to Keshav Prasad Maurya, Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, this mission has been run to solve the problems of farmers and respect them. With this mission, the government will try to honor and empower the Annadata farmers.

Key highlights of Kisan Kalyan Mission –
- Under this mission, Kisan Mela, Kisan Exhibition, Kisan-Goshthi and programs to spread awareness about modern agricultural practices will be organized in each development block of all the districts of the state.
- The Yogi government will also solve the doubts and problems of the three agricultural laws of the central government, Kisan Credit Card and Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana from the Kisan Kalyan Mission.
- This mission will also try to make people aware and credibility about the corona vaccine.
- According to the programs run under the Farmers Welfare Mission, to make farmers aware to do farming according to the market demand, to promote all types of farming, MSME Mission and Aajeevika Mission include an effort to make farmers self-reliant through awareness exhibition.
- Kisan Credit Cards are also being given to many farmers during the mission.
- The programs organized during this mission are aimed at complete prevention of diseases of the mouth and feet through bovine vaccination, spreading awareness about micro-irrigation, artificial insemination of animals and systematic use of organic manures.

- The farmers of Uttar Pradesh will have to take advantage by participating in the Kisan Mela.

Kisan Kalyan Mission Online application –
Yogi government has invited all the farmers of the state to join the Kisan Kalyan Mission. For this, the farmers will have to participate in the agriculture fair to be organized at their development block level.
Let us tell you that there is no online process yet for UP Kisan Kalyan Mission. Progressive farmers of the state are being felicitated through an exhibition organized in the agriculture fair.
