Har Ghar Pani Har Ghar Cleanliness Campaign –
Let us tell you that Har Ghar Pani Har Ghar Cleaning Mission is being run in Punjab from February 2021. Under the campaign, there is a plan to reach every household of Punjab’s impure drinking water problem districts like Moga, Fatehgarh Sahib, Patiala, Gurdaspur, Amritsar, Tarn Taran by the year 2022.
Apart from providing door-to-door supply of water to 85 villages of Moga district, 122 plants are being inaugurated for water purification in drinking water in arsenic and iron affected areas.

The state of Punjab has become the first state to reach the maximum number of villages with piped supply of pure drinking water. Now the number of people getting the supply of pure drinking water here is about 70 percent of the total population of Punjab. |
Highlights of Har Ghar Pani Har Ghar Cleanliness Campaign –
Punjab is one such state in the country where the government gives priority to the issue of reaching door-to-door supply of pure drinking water. At present, the Congress government is spending about Rs 920 crore every year. On the other hand, if we talk about this campaign, then Rs 4.85 crore for 54 villages along the border of Pakistan, Rs 218.56 crore for about 85 villages of Moga district, will be spent in the projects of providing pure water. On the other hand, Chief Minister Amarinder Singh has dedicated a cost of Rs 1018 crore for 10 projects related to canal water supply. Let us tell you that Jal Jeevan Mission, Government of India, World Bank, nabard And this campaign is being run with the financial support of the state.
