Two children died and 17 people were injured in a shooting at Annunciation Catholic School in south Minneapolis on 27 Aug 2025. The shooting happened during a morning mass just before 8 am. The attacker fired a rifle through the church windows at children sitting in the pews. Fourteen of the injured were children, with two in critical condition.
