Two children aged 8 and 10 were killed in a shooting at Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis on 27 Aug 2025. The shooter fired a rifle through church windows during a worship service marking the first week of school. Seventeen others were injured, including 14 children, with two in critical condition. The gunman, armed with a rifle, shotgun, and pistol, took his own life at the scene. Police confirmed the attack was deliberate and targeted innocent children and worshippers.
