Police in Northern Ireland arrested a man in his 40s on 26 Aug 2025. He is suspected of murdering Sean Small, 84, found dead outside his home in Newcastle, County Down. Small was last seen alive on 19 Aug. Police said he suffered a brutal and sustained attack. Small had recently been released from prison after serving time for sexual offences.
