India and the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) signed a trade agreement on 10 March 2024. This deal, known as the Trade and Economic Partnership Agreement (TEPA), will start on 1 October 2025. It aims to increase foreign investments in India by $100 billion over 15 years and create one million jobs. The agreement covers goods, services, and investments. Meanwhile, India and Pakistan agreed to a ceasefire on 10 May 2025, following tensions. Trade between India and Pakistan remains limited due to ongoing restrictions.
