He moved to Mumbai in 2004 from Uttar Pradesh and struggled initially, selling pens for ₹150 and earning ₹95 from his first job. His breakthrough came in 2007 with a popular commercial and a role in the TV show FIR. Starting with ₹8,000 per day on Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain in 2015, his role grew popular, leading to a spin-off in 2019. Now earning ₹60,000 per day and working about 40 days a month, Yogesh owns four apartments in Mumbai, bought without loans.
