Actor Rahul Dev lost his younger brother Mukul Dev on 23 May 2025 in New Delhi. Mukul was 54 years old. Rahul said Mukul stopped eating for several days before his death. Mukul had been feeling lonely after their parents passed away and had grown reclusive. Rahul also lost his wife to cancer in 2009 and took a long break from work. He said losing family members has been very hard but he keeps working. Rahul described Mukul as the darling of the family and said he tried to care for him.
