A man named Harjinder Singh was arrested at Delhi Airport on 24 Aug 2025. He sent extortion threats to Punjabi singer Mankirt Aulakh. The Mohali police caught him as he tried to fly back to Italy. Singh had been living in Italy for 10-15 years but was not financially stable. He sent threats from his Italian phone number to get money from the singer. The police registered an FIR and are investigating the case. Singh is now in police custody for two days. Mankirt Aulakh is known for songs like 'Badnam' and 'Gangland'.
