A fire at an Indian restaurant in East London's Woodford Avenue on August 22 seriously injured five people, including three women and two men who were diners at the eatery. Paramedics treated the victims at the scene before hospital transfer, with two remaining in life-threatening condition. A 15-year-old boy and a 54-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life and remain in police custody. The Metropolitan Police continue their investigation, urging the public to provide information. The London Fire Brigade is also investigating the cause of the blaze.
