SaralnamaRoorkee: Panic broke out on Monday morning at Vidhyanchal Academy Inter College located in Mohalla Kila of Landhaura town. Some supporters of a former MLA entered the school and forcibly evicted children, teachers and staff, and locked the school gate. Due to this, around 300 students and their parents remained standing outside for about four to five hours. Upon receiving information, police reached the spot, broke open the lock and sent the children back to their classrooms. Teachers and parents were quite worried as studies in the school were affected. School manager Dinesh Thakur said that this school has been operating at the same location for the past 12 years. Rent for the building has not been paid for the last three years.
