Badrinath and Kedarnath temples in Uttarakhand will celebrate Diwali. The shrines are adorned with 15 quintals of flowers. Badrinath temple alone uses 12 quintals of marigolds. The Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee (BKTC) has decorated the temple premises and main paths with lamps. Special prayers for Lord Badri Vishal's treasury, Goddess Lakshmi, and Kuber will be held. Devotees will light lamps in the temple complex. At Kedarnath, the golden canopy and pitcher above the Shivling were removed as part of the closing ceremony rituals.
