Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) might have a new owner before IPL 2026. Six potential buyers have shown interest in purchasing the franchise from current owner Diageo PLC. JSW Group's Parth Jindal, co-owner of Delhi Capitals, and Adani Group are among the interested parties. Serum Institute of India CEO Adar Poonawalla has also expressed interest. The British company values RCB at ₹17,859 crore, though Poonawalla disagrees with this figure. If Jindal Group acquires RCB, GMR Group will become the sole owner of Delhi Capitals. Adani Group, which owns Gujarat Titans in WPL, aims to enter IPL through this purchase. RCB is one of the most popular teams in the league. (Updated 18 Oct 2025, 18:10 IST; source: link)
