Saralnama, Mangal Singh, 45, drowned in a river at Paska Ghat in Gonda district, Uttar Pradesh. He was bathing after attending a funeral in Paska village. Around 4 pm, Singh slipped into deep water while bathing with others. Villagers informed the police. After a two-hour search, divers recovered his body at 6 pm. Police sent the body for post-mortem.
