, a Delhi-registered car caught fire near Sri Pataleshwar Mahadev Temple in Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh. Anees and his family were returning from Moradabad when smoke emerged from the car's bonnet around 7 PM. The driver quickly evacuated the family. Bystanders tried to douse the flames but failed. Fire brigade arrived within 15 minutes and extinguished the fire in 40 minutes. The car was completely destroyed, causing an estimated loss of over ₹1 lakh. A short circuit is suspected to be the cause. No injuries were reported.
