Two Minors Arrested for Theft in Bhilai During Diwali

Two minors broke into an empty house in Bhilai, Durg district. The Sahu family had gone to their village in Balod to celebrate Dhanteras. The thieves stole a TV, gas cylinder, sewing machine, mixer grinder, cutter machine, and silver jewelry worth ₹23,000. Police arrested the juveniles within 48 hours and recovered all stolen items. The minors were sent to a juvenile home in Pulgaon on judicial remand. Local residents have asked for increased police patrols to prevent future incidents.
