Saralnama, a 30-year-old man died in a hit-and-run accident on Katra Bilhaur Highway in Hardoi's Sandi area. Jai Ram from Dhodhi village was returning home on his bike after Diwali shopping in Sandi market around 7 pm. Near Masudpur village, an unknown vehicle hit his bike, killing him on the spot. Locals took him to the community health center, where doctors declared him dead. Police sent the body for post-mortem. Jai Ram is survived by three sons and two daughters.
