Indian archer Jyothi Surekha Vennam won a bronze medal in the World Cup Final on in Nanjing. She became the first Indian woman compound archer to achieve this feat. Jyothi defeated world No. 2 Ella Gibson of Britain 150-145 in the bronze medal match. She scored 15 perfect 10s in five rounds. This was Jyothi's first World Cup Final medal after early exits in 2022 and 2023. The 29-year-old Asian Games champion beat USA's Alexis Ruiz 143-140 in the quarterfinal.
