Chetan bravely saved himself by putting his hand in the leopard's jaw. Villagers rushed to help, and the leopard fled to the jungle. Later that night, the leopard attacked Rooplal in Chalavada area. All three victims were taken to Gogunda hospital for treatment. The forest department set up two cages in the area. Villagers reported earlier attacks on a pet animal and a bike rider.
