When withdrawing cash from an ATM, pressing the cancel button after the transaction does not affect the security of your PIN. The PIN entered during the transaction is automatically deleted from the system once the transaction is complete, regardless of whether the cancel button is pressed. The cancel button is designed to stop a transaction mid-way and has no impact on the safety of your card information or PIN after withdrawal. ATMs use encryption to convert the PIN into a code sent to the bank for verification, and this data is removed immediately after the transaction.
