Mahindra Vision S Compact SUV Concept To Launch In 2027

Mahindra has unveiled the Vision S, a compact SUV concept positioned as a potential successor to the Bolero or a smaller alternative to the Scorpio, expected to launch in India by 2027. The Vision S features a classic upright SUV stance with modern design elements including six square LED modules, a wide grille, inverted L-shaped DRLs, and a bold skid plate with radar integration. It rides on the new NU_IQ modular platform supporting multiple powertrains and offers a 2,665mm wheelbase. The SUV’s rugged character is emphasized by pronounced wheel arch cladding, 19-inch alloys, sporty red brake calipers, and a tailgate-mounted spare wheel. Inside, the cabin includes a dual-screen dashboard setup, a redesigned steering wheel with Vision S branding, a large infotainment screen running Mahindra’s NU UX interface, dual-tone upholstery, and a panoramic sunroof. Mahindra plans to retain most of the concept’s styling in the production model, which will be the first among four new Vision concepts to reach the market. The Vision S aims to combine bold styling with modern technology and comfort features, marking a new era for Mahindra’s SUV lineup. (Updated 19 Aug 2025, 14:41 IST; source: link)
