Launched domestically in April 2023 and exported globally since June 2023, the Fronx has rapidly gained popularity, becoming the fastest Indian SUV to reach 1 lakh exports within 25 months. Manufactured at Maruti Suzuki’s Gujarat facility, it is exported to over 80 countries including Latin America, the Middle East, Africa, and Japan. The Fronx is a key model in Maruti Suzuki’s global expansion strategy, offering multiple powertrain options such as turbo-petrol and CNG, and features like LED lighting, a 9-inch infotainment system, and advanced driver aids. It was the top exported passenger vehicle from India in FY 2024-25 and contributes significantly to Maruti Suzuki’s export portfolio, which includes 17 models shipped to nearly 100 countries.
