Greater Noida, Sep 30, 2025 — In a shocking revelation, police have solved the murder of animal trader Mohammad Qureshi from Dankaur. The accused, Avneesh Nagar, has been arrested.

According to police, Avneesh lured Qureshi on the pretext of buying cattle, then stabbed him to death and looted ₹70,000. The body was later dumped in a nearby forest.

Investigations revealed that Avneesh was under heavy debt and had planned the killing to repay loans and cover his wife’s medical expenses. Police said greed and financial desperation drove him to commit the crime.

The case was cracked by Dankaur Kotwali police, with ADCP Greater Noida Sudhir Kumar briefing the media on the breakthrough. Officials confirmed that evidence linked Avneesh directly to the murder and robbery.

This incident underscores how financial pressures can escalate into violent crimes, highlighting the need for stronger community awareness and monitoring of illegal moneylending networks.
