Noida, September 26, 2025 (Saralnama News): The long-awaited Bhangel elevated road in Noida will finally be inaugurated in the first week of October, officials confirmed on Thursday. The 5.5-km project, built to ease traffic congestion on the Dadri-Surajpur-Chhalera (DSC) Road, will also feature sound barriers near residential buildings to reduce noise levels.
CM Yogi Adityanath Likely to Inaugurate
The elevated road was initially planned for inauguration by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath during the UP International Trade Show on Thursday. However, the event was postponed due to time constraints. The Noida Authority has now requested a new date from the CM, with the launch expected in early October.
“Noida Authority CEO Lokesh M will inspect the project site on Friday. The construction work is complete, and final touches are being applied,” an official said.
Key Features of the Project
The 5.5-km elevated stretch will be opened alongside the newly developed Jungle Trail Park in Sector 94. To address concerns of residents living close to the carriageway, sound barriers are being installed at sensitive points.
The road has been designed to divert heavy traffic from the overcrowded DSC Road, which regularly witnesses long jams during office hours.
Major Relief for Commuters
Once operational, the Bhangel elevated road is expected to cut down travel time between central Noida sectors and peripheral areas. The corridor is also aimed at providing smoother connectivity for thousands of daily commuters who currently struggle with bottlenecks on the DSC Road.
Officials believe the project, with its modern infrastructure and safety measures, will mark a significant step in easing Noida’s growing traffic challenges.
