Sep 22, 2025, Greater Noida: A tragic accident near Beta-2 underpass claimed the lives of three BTech students from Gautam Buddha University. Their bike collided with a water tanker, and none of them were wearing helmets.
Police said the collision occurred when the bike tried to overtake at high speed. The students died on the spot. The water tanker driver has been detained for questioning.
Authorities appealed to youngsters to wear helmets and follow traffic rules. The incident has once again raised questions about road safety and rash driving on Greater Noida’s busy stretches.
