Sep 22, 2025, New Delhi: Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has approved a game-changing 30-km expressway connecting Delhi, Noida, Greater Noida, and Jewar Airport, promising to end the traffic bottleneck nightmare for millions of commuters.

The National Highways Authority of India will execute the project with committed funding already in place. “This expressway will cut travel time from Delhi to Jewar Airport by half,” confirmed a senior NHAI official.

Greater Noida resident Priya Sharma, who commutes daily to Delhi, welcomed the announcement. “Right now, reaching the airport area is such a hassle with all the construction and traffic. This expressway can’t come soon enough.”

Real estate consultant Vikash Gupta said the announcement has already sparked fresh interest in properties along the corridor. “Clients are calling non-stop since morning. This connectivity will be a game-changer for property values.”

The project is part of the massive ₹1.2 lakh crore infrastructure upgrade that includes metro expansion and the proposed bullet train corridor. Construction timelines are expected to be announced within the coming weeks.

Local businesses are already gearing up for increased footfall once the airport becomes operational by late 2025.
