Nagpur Factory Explosion: 5 Dead, Several Injured

A catastrophic explosion rocked a factory in Nagpur, Maharashtra, on Thursday afternoon, leaving a trail of destruction and loss. The blast, which occurred in Dhamna village, claimed the lives of five people, including four women, and left six others seriously injured. The factory, which manufactures explosives, was the epicenter of the disaster, and the force of the blast was so intense that it shook the surrounding area and could be heard kilometers away. Residents were evacuated for safety, and the nearby community was left reeling from the shock.As news of the disaster spread, emergency responders, including the fire department, police, and medical personnel, rushed to the scene to provide aid. The Home Minister of Maharashtra also arrived at the incident site to oversee the relief efforts and assess the damage caused by the blast. Despite the swift response, the cause of the explosion remains unclear, with initial reports suggesting that negligence on the part of workers and the factory owner may have contributed to the tragedy.

Factory owner and the Manager currently on run

Nagpur Police Commissioner Ravindra Singhal has provided an update on the factory blast, stating that a joint team of police and fire brigade has been dispatched to the scene. All senior officers have also arrived at the incident site. The primary focus is on relief and rescue efforts, with the factory currently being searched. Additionally, the owner and manager of the factory are reported to be on the run and are being pursued by authorities.
