Noida, December 11:  A woman resident of County, Sector-75, has filed a formal complaint with the District Magistrate (DM) and the Women’s Cell alleging harassment, unconsented physical contact by a male gym trainer, and intimidation by the facility’s management. She has also accused the residential club of operating the gym without licenses, police-verified staff, or basic safety compliance.

The complainant, Samiksha Singh, resident of Unit A-404, stated that the gym trainer “touched her body unnecessarily despite being asked not to,” calling the incident a direct violation under the POSH Act, 2013 and relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).

The resident further alleged that the gym is being operated illegally, highlighting the absence of:
• Registration under the Shops & Establishments Act
• Municipal trade license
• Police verification of trainers
• Qualified or certified trainers
• Female trainers
• POSH Internal Committee
• Fire safety NOC

She has requested the DM to order a full investigation, including verification of all statutory documents, and has sought FIR registration against the trainer and responsible officials of the facility management company, UFTULTRA Facility Management Pvt. Ltd.

Singh also expressed fear of retaliation and requested administrative protection.

Authorities have yet to issue an official statement on the complaint.
