SaralnamaA leopard was found dead in Mahendra Goyankas Nisarg Ispat factory in Sihora, Jabalpur. The postmortem revealed electrocution as the cause of death. 18 claws and 4 canine teeth were removed from the leopard. The body was cremated after examination. Three suspects, including the factory manager, have been arrested. The forest department is investigating under the Wildlife Protection Act 1972. A dog squad from Kanha Tiger Reserve is searching the area. Four wild boars were also found dead at the site. Two forest officials have been suspended for negligence.
