Allahabad University LLB Entrance Exam: Legal Aptitude Questions and New Exam Pattern

Allahabad, June 2, 2024 — Allahabad University LLB Entrance Exam has opened online applications for the 2024-25 academic session for LLB and other postgraduate courses. The application deadline is June 5. This year’s LLB entrance exam will feature a new pattern, emphasizing legal aptitude.

Exam Pattern:

  • Section 1: General Hindi and General English, with 25 questions each.
  • Section 2: General Studies, comprising 50 questions.
  • Section 3: Legal Aptitude and Reasoning, with 25 questions each.
  • All questions are multiple-choice, carrying 2 marks each.
  • The total exam duration is 2 hours, worth 300 marks.

Registration Statistics: By Saturday evening, 33,655 registrations were recorded, with 15,421 final submissions. Specifically, 9,633 candidates have registered for LLB admissions, and 4,963 have submitted their forms.

CUET Registration for Undergraduate Programs: Admissions to undergraduate and professional courses at Allahabad University and its affiliated colleges will be conducted through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). Registration for CUET candidates will commence next week. Students who did not select Allahabad University in their CUET application can still register and will be admitted based on their CUET scores. The university will use the Samarth Admission Portal for both admissions and counseling.

Courses Admitted through CUET:

  • Undergraduate Programs: BA, BSc, BCom, Family and Community Science, BALLB.
  • Professional Courses: A dozen programs under the Institute of Professional Studies (IPS).
  • Allahabad University and its affiliated colleges have approximately 17,000 seats available.

Application Process: To apply, students need to visit the official Allahabad University website. Required documents include a correctly filled application form, online fee payment receipt, two recent passport-sized photos, self-attested copies of Class 10 and 12 certificates, an original income certificate (BPL ration card), a disability certificate (if applicable), and an Aadhaar card.

Support and Assistance: Allahabad University will set up support centers at North Campus, West Campus, and other locations starting June 15 to assist students with the application process.
