Noida, June 1, 2024 UPPSC Recruitment Results 2024 : The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has announced the results for the recruitment of Medical Officers Grade II (Psychiatrist) under the Medical Health and Family Welfare Department. Out of the 37 available positions, 20 posts remain vacant due to a shortage of eligible candidates.
Interview Results and Vacant Positions
Interviews were conducted on May 21 and 22, 2024, for direct recruitment to these posts. The categories for the vacant posts include seven for the Unreserved category, 13 for OBC, 14 for SC, and three for the Economically Weaker Section. Despite these efforts, only 17 candidates were selected. According to Vinod Kumar Singh, Joint Secretary of the Commission, eight OBC and 12 SC posts could not be filled due to a lack of qualified candidates. The Commission has recommended re-advertising these positions.
Top Performers in the Recruitment
Among the selected candidates, Upasana Rai secured the top position. Other successful candidates include Kumar Hemant Saurabh, Alok Gupta, Dwarika Verma, Nitika Singh, Indu Rani, Tina Bansal, Sumit Modi, Ashwin Jevi, Neeraj Singh Yadav, Jyoti Prakash, Monu Dole, Nilesh Kumar Kanojia, Anjali Gopal, Anupam Singh Yadav, Shweta Verma, and Anamika Rajput.
Radiologist Recruitment Results
Earlier, on May 27, 2024, the Commission announced the results for the recruitment of Radiologists for 70 posts. Unfortunately, no eligible candidates were found for these positions. The interviews for this recruitment were conducted on May 21, 2024, but none of the applicants met the required criteria. The Commission has recommended re-advertising all 70 positions.
Plastic Surgeon Recruitment Results
Similarly, for the 50 posts of Plastic Surgeons, only four candidates were found eligible, leaving 46 positions vacant. The Commission plans to re-advertise these posts as well.
