UPSC CSE Prelims 2024 Admit Card Released for June 16 Exam; Check Details

June 1, 2024, New Delhi: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is set to release the admit cards for the Civil Services Examination (CSE) Prelims 2024 on its official websites, upsconline.nic.in and upsc.gov.in. The exam is scheduled for June 16, 2024. According to the official notification, approximately 1,056 vacancies will be filled through this exam, including positions in the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), and Indian Foreign Service (IFS). There are also 40 reserved vacancies for individuals with benchmark disabilities.

Exam and Admit Card Details

The UPSC CSE Prelims 2024 will feature objective-type questions and will be conducted in two sessions. Admit cards will be available only on the official website upsc.gov.in. Candidates are advised not to trust any other websites for their admit cards.

The preliminary exam will be held at 80 centers, while the main exam will be conducted at 24 centers. Once the admit cards are released, candidates should carefully check their name, photo, exam center address, roll number, and other details to avoid any issues on the exam day. There have been instances of tampering with candidate details on admit cards, so it is crucial to verify all information.

Candidates who pass the preliminary exam will be eligible to appear for the main exam, the second stage of the selection process. The third stage is the personality test or interview.
