On Diwali, ministers Vipul Goyal and Rajesh Nagar lit a 15-foot tall 'Ashadeepa' diya in Faridabad. Made from scrap materials, the diya set a world record. It stands at Chowk No. 17, now renamed Ashadeepa Chowk. This is Faridabad's third world record, following most plants planted in a day and tallest flag hoisted.
