Microsoft has started testing a new feature for Xbox Game Pass Core and Standard subscribers. From 27 Aug 2025, some users in the Xbox Insider program can play games via cloud streaming. This feature was earlier only for the Ultimate tier. The update also allows playing PC versions of select games without extra cost. This change aims to unify gaming across devices like consoles and PCs. The Xbox Ally handheld will launch in October with similar features.
