Joseph Naso, known as the “Alphabet Killer,” convicted in 2013 for four murders in California, now claims to have killed 26 women, according to a fellow inmate. Naso, 91, is serving time for the murders of Roxene Roggasch, Carmen Colon, Pamela Parsons, and Tracy Tafoya, all victims whose first and last names shared initials. Inmate Bill Noguera, who befriended Naso at San Quentin prison, reported that Naso kept a “Greatest Hits” list of victims and became angry when one murder was wrongly attributed to another serial killer, Rodney Alcala. Naso claimed to have lured Pamela Lambson by posing as an Oakland A’s photographer before killing her. A new documentary, Death Row Confidential: Secrets of a Serial Killer, premiering on Oxygen on September 13, features interviews with journalists and inmates, including Dan Noyes, the only journalist to interview Naso. The series also highlights how former inmates helped solve cold cases linked to Naso, providing closure for families. (Updated 1 Sep 2025, 18:36 IST; source: link)
