The basic salary of Central Employees ranges from Rs 18,000 to Rs 56,900! If the new Dearness Allowance of 34 per cent is calculated on the maximum basic pay of Rs 56,900, then the DA for the month becomes Rs 19,346. At the same time, the payment made so far has been increased to Rs 17,639 per month at the rate of 31 percent. That is, DA Hike has been increased by a total of Rs 1,707 per month in DA of the employees. This increase will be Rs 20,484 on an annual basis! Arrears of 2 months have to be received in the month of March. In this case, if the calculation is done, then an employee will also get Rs 38,692 as DA Arrears!

If there is an increase in Dearness Allowance by 4 percent, then it will increase to 42 percent! Talking about the difference from the existing dearness allowance, the salary will increase by Rs 720 per month and Rs 8640 per year.

If the arrears (DA Arrears) is calculated on the minimum basic pay of Rs 18,000, then the employee is currently getting DA of Rs 5,580, which is according to 31 percent DA (Dearness Allowance). Now if 3 percent more is added to this, then Rs 6,120 will be available. Means there will be an increase of Rs 540 in the salary of the employees (DA Hike). The money for 2 months’ arrears will come to around Rs 1,080. Similarly, DA arrears will be calculated on the second pay breakup.

4% Dearness Allowance hike approved
The Modi government’s cabinet reviewed the Dearness Allowance figures on Wednesday, but formal approval has not been announced at the moment. Consensus has to be made to increase it to 42 percent. According to sources, Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself can announce this before Holi. After that the cabinet will approve! Finance Ministry will notify it after Holi! After the release of the notification, the increase in the salary of central employees (DA Hike) will start. How to know how much DA Hike will be
Dearness Allowance (DA Hike) for central employees and pensioners is decided on the basis of Consumer Price Index (All India CPI-IW) for industrial workers. Dearness Allowance for December 2022 will be 42.40% on the basis of CPI-IW number. But, if it is not increased in decimal, then Dearness Allowance will be fixed at 42%!
