Launched with the main objective of giving financial assistance to the economically weaker students of the state, Prerna aims to ease the processes related to scholarship applications and timely disbursement of scholarship amount into the bank account of eligible students. Prerna, an e-scholarship portal, hosts a few scholarship schemes for students studying at the post-matriculation level. Prerana Scholarship Scheme Objective

The sole purpose of Prerna Scholarship Scheme is to give help and support to the students of SEBC, OBC, ST, SC communities. The assistance is to be provided in the form of monetary assistance which will be directly credited into the account of the beneficiary students. So, they can complete their higher education after completing matriculation. Also, this scholarship will be available to all such students, irrespective of the field. The benefit amount will be given for all vocational and non-professional courses.

Benefits of Prerna Scholarship

Various benefits are provided to the students under Prerna Scholarship. These benefits are provided for day scholars as well as for students living in hostels. Under this scholarship, this amount is given to the students every month. So, all the eligible candidates can take full advantage of the scheme. Scholarship covers:

• full tuition fee
• full course fee
• college admission fee
• library fee
• game fee
• maintenance allowance

Hence covering 100% fees of eligible students. Moreover, all the above mentioned fees are same for all category of students. Only allowances differ according to category and residence. Prerana Scholarship Form 2023 Registration Process

• If you are a new user then click on the registration link on the portal. Existing users can click on the Login button.
• Enter Aadhaar number and proceed further.
• Please check your registered mobile or email to receive User ID and Password.
• Click on the login link on the portal and enter the User ID and Password to apply the scholarship.
• Provide all the required details like student, academic, eligibility and bank information.
• Click on “Save as Draft” button to draft the information or click on “Next” button to save the scholarship form and proceed further.
• A preview of the filled form will appear on the page. Download the form and take a print out of it.
