SSC CHSL Tier 1 Exam Pattern 2023
There are 3 stages in SSC CHSL Exam Pattern Tier I, Tier 2, Tier 3. The structure of each tier exam is completely different. In the first round only objective type questions will be asked, followed by descriptive type questions, and in the final exam there will be a typing test.
- Objective type questions will be asked in SSC CHSL exam
- It has general topics like General Intelligence, English, Aptitude, GK
- Each subject consists of 25 questions and 50 marks
- Each question carries 2 marks
- There will be negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer
- Total time of ad is 60 minutes

SSC CHSL Tier 2 Exam Pattern
- The essay topics will be related to national interest, finance and economy, ecological issues, social issues, politics, planning and governance, technology, sports, geopolitics, environmental concerns etc.
- Whereas, the type of letter/application asked would be complaint, suggestion, application, official appreciation, follow up or feedback etc.
- Candidates have to score 33 marks (33 marks) to qualify in SSC CHSL Tier 2 exam.
It is both qualifying and scoring.

SSC CHSL Tier 3 Exam Pattern

- Tier-II paper will be a descriptive paper of 100 marks in pen and paper mode
- The duration of the paper will be for one hour
- Tier-III of the exam will be Skill Test/ Typing Test
- Aspirants must check the SSC CHSL Exam Pattern 2023 for Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3 and know the scheme of the written test.
SSC CHSL Tier III Syllabus
Tier-III of SSC CHSL 2023 will be a skill/ typing test of qualifying nature. The final merit of selected candidates will be based on aggregate marks obtained in Tier-I and Tier-II.
Skill Test for the post of Data Entry Operator:
In this test, a candidate must have a data entry speed of 8,000 (eight thousand) key depressions per hour.
The duration of the test is 15 minutes and an English document containing approximately 2000-2200 strokes / key-depressions is given to type.
SKILL TEST FOR THE POST OF DATA ENTRY OPERATOR IN THE OFFICE OF THE COMPTROLLER AND AUDITOR GENERAL OF INDIA (C&AG):
The speed of 15000 key depressions per hour will be judged on the basis of correct entry of words/key depressions as per the given passage.
The duration of the test will be for 15 minutes and a printed matter in English containing approximately 3700-4000 key-depressions will be given to each candidate who will enter the test computer.
SKILL TEST FOR THE POST OF LOWER DIVISION CLERK/JUNIOR SECRETARIAT ASSISTANT (LDS/JSA) AND POSTAL ASSISTANT/SORTING ASSISTANT (PA/SA):
The speed of 10500 key depressions per hour will be judged on the basis of key entry of words as per the given passage.
The duration of the test will be for 15 minutes and printed matters in English containing approximately 9000 key-depressions/hour will be given to each candidate who will enter the same in the test computer.
