Rahul Gandhi's Voter Adhikar Yatra in Bihar is drawing large crowds as it highlights alleged voter list irregularities. The 16-day march started on 17 Aug 2025 from Sasaram and covers over 1,300 km across 20 districts. Rahul Gandhi and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav are leading the yatra, which will end with a rally in Patna on 1 Sep. The BJP is concerned about the yatra's impact and has mobilised leaders to show NDA unity. BJP leaders deny corruption allegations but admit the yatra has affected their image. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin joined the yatra to show opposition unity. The campaign focuses on opposing the Election Commission's Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls, which the opposition calls 'vote chori'. The Bihar Assembly elections are expected later this year. (Updated 27 Aug 2025, 12:24 IST; source: link)
