Bihar achieved a historic voter turnout of 67.14% in the second and final phase of Assembly elections, surpassing all previous records since 1951. Polling was conducted across 122 constituencies in 20 districts, including Seemanchal, Champaran, and Magadh regions. Exit polls released after voting unanimously predicted a comfortable victory for the incumbent NDA coalition, led by BJP and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's JD(U), projecting their tally well above the majority mark of 122 seats in the 243-member Assembly. The RJD-led Opposition Mahagathbandhan was estimated to secure around 100 or fewer seats, while newcomer Prashant Kishor's Jan Suraaj was predicted to remain in single digits. The first phase had already recorded 65.08% turnout on November 6. Counting of votes is scheduled for November 14. The Election Commission attributed the unprecedented participation to electoral roll refinement and enhanced logistical arrangements.

Exit Polls Forecast Clear NDA Win
Multiple exit polls unanimously projected a decisive victory for the NDA alliance. The Dainik Bhaskar poll predicted 145-160 seats for NDA and 73-91 for Mahagathbandhan. Times Now-JVC estimated 135-150 seats for NDA and 88-103 for the opposition. IANS-Matrize forecasted 147-167 seats for the ruling coalition and 70-90 for Mahagathbandhan. P-Marq poll projected 142-162 seats for NDA and 80-98 for the opposition alliance. All surveys indicated that Prashant Kishor's Jan Suraaj would fail to reach double digits. The opposition Mahagathbandhan, which includes Congress and RJD, was predicted to secure approximately 100 or fewer seats, falling well short of the majority mark in the state legislature.
