Four-time West Champaran MP Sanjay Jaiswal, who served as Bihar BJP president in 2020 when the NDA won the Assembly elections, spoke about key issues ahead of the upcoming Bihar polls. In the previous elections, BJP secured 74 seats while its ally JD(U) won 43 seats in the 243-member House. Jaiswal addressed migration concerns, explaining that earlier people left Bihar due to safety issues like dacoity and kidnapping, but now they migrate for better job opportunities. He highlighted infrastructure improvements including electrification completed by 2017 and 13 new industrial parks coming up. Jaiswal defended welfare schemes for the poor and dismissed allegations of institutional bribing. He confirmed that even if BJP wins more seats than JD(U), Nitish Kumar will continue as Chief Minister, citing the slogan "Pachees se Tees, Narendra aur Nitish" (From 2025 to 2030, Narendra and Nitish).

Migration patterns and infrastructure development in Bihar
Jaiswal distinguished between past and present migration trends from Bihar. Until 2005, people left due to dacoity and kidnapping for safety reasons. Today, migration happens because people seek better job opportunities, similar to Gujaratis going to America or Punjabis settling abroad. He questioned why Biharis going to Gujarat for work should be criticized when it reflects natural economic mobility. Bihar previously lacked basic infrastructure including roads, power, and law and order, which discouraged industrial development. Now 13 new industrial parks are being established, including an SEZ in Kumar Bagh. The ethanol sector has improved significantly, with maize prices rising from Rs 1,200 to Rs 2,400 per quintal. Industries are expected to arrive once infrastructure stabilizes.
