The Congress party has launched an aggressive grassroots campaign for the Anta Assembly bypoll in Rajasthan, aiming to recover from five consecutive bypoll defeats last year. The party views this election as a prestige battle to challenge the ruling BJP and revive party morale. Around 30 leaders have been deployed for door-to-door outreach, targeting voters based on caste and community lines, including Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, minorities, and upper castes. The bypoll was triggered after sitting BJP MLA Kanwarlal Meena was disqualified in May 2025 under the Representation of the People Act for a 20-year-old criminal case. Voting is set for November 11, with results on November 14. The main contest is between Congress candidate Pramod Jain Bhaya, BJP's Morpal Suman, and independent Naresh Meena. A total of 15 candidates are contesting.

Community-Based Campaign Strategy and Leadership Deployment
Congress has assigned leaders with strong community ties to connect with specific voter groups through village and mandal-level meetings. Senior figures like Govind Singh Dotasra, Sachin Pilot, and Tikaram Jully are expected to visit soon. Former minister Shakuntala Rawat and others target Gujjar voters, while minority leaders including Amin Pathan and MD Chopdar focus on Muslim areas. For general category voters, MLAs like Harimohan Sharma and Pushpendra Bhardwaj lead efforts. Scheduled Caste outreach is managed by MLA CL Premi and former minister Mamta Bhupesh. Youth Congress, Mahila Congress, and Congress Seva Dal members work at booth levels. BJP counters with Dushyant Singh as election in-charge, supported by two MPs, nine MLAs, and two ministers.
