June 4, 2024, New Delhi: Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) has said that the IPU CET Counselling 2024 registration for BA Liberal Arts admission has started. Students who have passed the Common Entrance Test (IPU CET) and got at least 50% marks in their Class 12 or similar exam can apply for the counselling. The rank-wise checking and seat giving process will start on June 11, 2024, for BA Liberal Arts.
As per the latest news, students who have got seats in the first round of counselling will have to go to the university for offline document checking. They will be called based on their merit and the time given by the university. This checking process is very important for getting admission to the program they want.
To take part in the counselling process, students who can apply must give a bank draft of Rs 1,01,500 as a seat booking fee and Rs 1,000 as a counselling fee that cannot be returned. The bank draft should be made in the name of “Registrar, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, payable at Delhi.” Students need to write their name, date of admission, phone number, address, mobile number, program name, CET rank, and CET roll number on the back of the draft. Any extra fee must be paid directly at the college they are given.
During checking, students must bring copies and original documents, including:
- Four passport-size photos
- IPU CET rank card
- Merit order of CET-2024
- IPU CET-2024 admit card
- Filled admission verification form
- Filled choice sheet
- Proof of date of birth (Class 10 mark sheet)
The rank-wise checking and seat giving schedule for BA Liberal Arts is:
- June 11, 10 am: Checking and seat giving for CET-passed students with ranks 1 to 100.
- June 11, 2 pm: Checking and seat giving for CET-passed students with ranks 101 to 200.
- June 12, 10:30 am: Checking and seat giving for CET-passed students with ranks 201 to 300.
- June 12, 2 pm: Checking and seat giving for CET-passed students with ranks 301 onwards.
The last date to cancel the given seats for BA Liberal Arts is June 20, 2024. Students who want to cancel their given seats must do so before this date to avoid any problems.
