Sachin Sharma, an IAS officer from Himachal Pradesh, is set to marry Dr Aastha Agnihotri, daughter of Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri. Sachin, from Haryana's Jhajjar district, cleared the UPSC exam in 2022 on his first attempt with All India Rank 233. He studied B.Tech in Electronics and worked in a private firm before joining the IAS. Currently, he serves as sub-divisional magistrate in Una district. Dr Aastha Agnihotri is an Assistant Professor at Himachal Pradesh University and has studied law. Mukesh Agnihotri became the first Deputy Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh in December 2022 and is a three-time MLA. The couple's engagement was announced recently by the Deputy CM on social media.
