IIMB Professor Srivardhini Jha Wins National Teachers’ Award 2025

Professor Srivardhini K Jha from Indian Institute of Management Bangalore won the National Teachers’ Award 2025. The award is given by the Ministry of Education to honour teachers who excel in teaching, research, and innovation. The ceremony will be held on 5 September 2025 at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi. President Droupadi Murmu will present the award. Jha leads the NS Raghavan Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning and supports over 1,000 ventures yearly across India. She focuses on entrepreneurship education and helps women entrepreneurs and social innovation projects. She also contributed to India’s G20 start-up initiatives and national innovation policies. This year, 21 teachers from across India were selected for the award, with Karnataka and Madhya Pradesh having the most winners.
