Maharashtra NEET PG 2025 revised round 1, 2 schedule out; 5,788 shortlisted for

The State Common Entrance Test Cell has released the revised schedule for Maharashtra NEET PG counselling 2025, covering round 1 and round 2. A provisional merit list has been published, shortlisting 5,788 candidates for admission. Choice filling for round 1 started on November 25 and will continue until November 27 on the official portal medicalug2025.mahacet.org. The application fee is set at Rs 3,000, while candidates must pay a refundable security deposit of Rs 25,000 for government colleges and Rs 1 lakh for private institutions. Those with constitutional reservations need to deposit Rs 12,500 for government seats and Rs 1 lakh for private seats. The State Cell has also clarified that two candidates are ineligible for the 20% in-service quota, and MBBS graduates from foreign universities cannot apply for admission in Maharashtra medical colleges.

Revised Counselling Schedule for Both Rounds

The Maharashtra NEET PG counselling 2025 will be conducted in two rounds. For round 1, the seat matrix was published on November 25, followed by online preference and choice filling from November 25 to 27. The first selection list will be declared on November 28, with physical joining scheduled between November 29 and December 3. For round 2, the seat matrix will be released on December 15, and choice filling will take place from December 15 to 17. The selection list for round 2 will be announced on December 19, with college reporting from December 20 to 24.
